There is a story behind every work of art I make and I share those stories with you here on this website.

Every work on this website has been handmade by one artist (Lauren Odell Usher).  Each piece is made from reused materials and is completely one-of-a-kind. I have a MFA in Fine Arts and feel that my educational background and passion for art in all aspects lends towards the uniqueness and artistic quality of the work you will find at Upcycled Unlimited.

Upcycled Purses

Purses were my first creative reuse outlet. I am a self taught sewer and dove into experimenting with different materials, shapes, and sizes right away. I feel a freedom with the sewing machine that I sometimes lack in my other art genres. I try to maintain a playful and whimsical nature to my purse work and hope it leaves you with a smile on your face.
